...is there a sweeter sound?
Parker had his very first belly laugh...repeatedly this weekend. The cause? His Meemaw - which I am quite certain put an extra bounce in her step yesterday and today. All she was doing was "getting" his belly starting up high and slowly coming down. I tried and failed. I tried again and failed again. I think it must have been the extra bouncing around of her ponytail, too!
That sweet, sweet sound brought back a flood of memories of my very first time of hearing a child of mine create such a joyful noise. Nolan's belly laughs would come in spurts and be instantaneously replaced by hiccups because he would laugh so hard.
It's bliss in my world all over again.
