Zoo
Last weekend we took Nolan to the St. Louis Zoo. He LOVED it just as we thought he would. He's very much into animals right now, and loves petting all sorts of animals. His Aunt Tracy & Uncle Kevin got him a safari animal set for his birthday that we have to play with daily. We are definitely looking forward to more trips to the zoo this summer. Nolan did get a little boo-boo while we were there. We went to the children's zoo so he could be up close and personal with the animals. After he finished petting and brushing several goats, he sat on the bench. One of the goats he 
favored decided to join him and jumped up on the bench beside him. I was too worried about finding my camera to take a picture (while staying next to him, of course) that I didn't pick him up right away. The goat decided he wanted to be a lap goat and stepped over Nolan's legs...while stepping over his legs he stomped right on top of his poor, little hand! Nolan began bawling, and I shoved the goat off of him. It tore a little skin off and left a small bruise, but as soon as I cuddled him a little he was off chasing the goat around again. Glad to know I didn't scar him for life...his love for animals still lives on!

I'm glad that he likes those animals so much. Something so simple :)
