Happy 2nd Birthday, Baby!

Well the day came and went rather quickly. Brian & I even commented that it was kind of similiar to our wedding in the respect that you prepare for it, invest time and effort, and then it's over before you know it! We had PERFECT weather - a beautiful sunny day with a cool, crisp breeze...hard to come by in early April! I made Nolan's cake and no I did not use a pan, I cut the shape out and everything! It was my first cake ever (aside from the trial run I made of this a couple weeks prior), and I really enjoyed it. It was quite time consuming, but if I had the time I think I could really get into something like that. Brian & I feel so truly blessed to have this healthy, beautiful baby boy in our lives...and these past 2 years have been so unbelievably amazing! We are very lucky. We head to the doctor this afternoon, I'll have his 2 year stats posted soon (keep your fingers crossed for his weight). In the meantime, here are some pictures from Nolan's special day, enjoy!
