Nolan and our family had the pleasure of meeting one of the last living Munchkins from the beloved, classic movie, The Wizard of Oz. Mickey Carroll came to my school last night for Family Reading Night, "Reading With the Stars". Mr. Carroll is going to be 90 years old in July, and still makes several appearances a year, as well as, helping out numerous charities and benefits. It truly was an exciting experience, and I'm so happy Nolan was able to participate in this event (even though he won't remember it down the road).
