Change

Nolan had a fabulous time trick-or-treating! Last year, he was only 6 months old, so we only visited a couple of friends. What a difference a year can make!! We went to a gathering with all of the kiddos from the babysitter's. From there we traveled by hayride house-to-house! Nolan was a little unsure at first, but after the second house or so he began to feel right at home...or at least he seemed to...he had the urge to attempt to enter every house we came upon! By the end of the night, he was saying "deat" to everyone he passed while holding up his bucket! I'll post a picture or two soon.

We started off the day with a lot more excitement than Nolan's used to...It's Nolan's 1st Presidential Election Day! Brian headed to the polls first thing this morning, and I had to wait until after school due to the long lines. We're so excited to see who will be our country's next President and so thankful we have the voice to choose our leader! We're very proud and blessed to be able to raise Nolan in such an amazing country.

*One side note...We are no longer fostering a kitty - we found a new home for Yadi today. Nolan seemed a little confused at first when he was leaving, and went around the house saying "kitty" a couple times...but by bedtime I think the phrase "out of sight, out of mind" came into play. Thank goodness we still have "Busters".
