St. Patty's Day

Since I didn't get around to a 'Wordless Wednesday' post, I figured this shot of Nolan tonight was perfect. Is March going to be going out like a lamb? I sure hope so...and so does Nolan. He's been LOVING going outside to play the past two evenings. Tonight, while Brian & I were sitting on the porch soaking in the moment of watching Nolan play & the fresh air on our skin, Nolan laid down right smack-dab in the middle of our sidewalk and watched the airplanes & birds pass. Sometimes it really is the simple things that make all the difference.

One of the Leprechauns paid a visit to Nolan's school the past two days. Yesterday, he excitedly walked into school and immediately noticed the green footprints trailing the hallways of his preschool. He was instantly filled with excitement and a bit of nervousness (although he tried his hardest to not let it show). When I picked him up at the end of the day one of his teachers informed me that he'd held off on going potty for a long period of time. When they finally told him to try and go, he insisted on one of the other teacher's escorting him into the bathroom (where the footprints led) and requested that she opened each and every stall door and remain in the bathroom with him until he was finished.
This morning, he woke up to GREEN milk in our fridge. He found it quite amusing until it clicked that GREEN milk meant there was a Leprechaun inside our house overnight. He was not so fond of that thought.
I believe that little Leprechaun made up for all of his faults by leaving cookies & gold for the kiddos at school today along with a note apologizing for messing up their school. Nolan has already notified us that he is not going to spend his gold on a toy because it's too good to give away.
