OK, so I know I've really been slacking on blogging lately...but I guess that's what summertime does! I actually thought I'd do more of it since I am home with him and not working, but it's been the complete opposite. Brian has had class for his Master's for the past two weeks (one more to go), and Nolan & I have been quite busy playing! We are really enjoying being home together, it makes me appreciate my job that much more!
We are very excited that we leave for California ONE WEEK from today! Not only am I extremely excited to see my cousin, Stacey, but Nolan is also! Our whole family cannot wait to get out to SoCal. Nolan did a great job on the plane last year when we went to Florida, so I am hoping and praying that he'll do just as well this year.
Here is a picture from Nolan today. He had a little poolside mishap! He fell off a lounge chair and luckily only scraped his face on the concrete. As I rushed to pick him up I had that awful feeling in my stomach that there was going to be a lot of blood and possibly a loose tooth or two. Thankfully, it was much less minor. Although, by the sound of his cries and the loud thud, you definitely would of thought otherwise. After some cuddle time and a popsicle he was ready to go! Ahh...the joys of summer.
