Our Day Downtown

We spent the whole day in Downtown St. Louis yesterday with Nolan. We started with meeting the Bowman's for lunch. Then we went to Kiener Plaza, the Arch, & the Cardinals game! It was a very long and tiring day...but so much fun. Nolan really enjoyed himself, and we were glad we did it. The wait in the Arch was quite long, and we were wondering several times if it was even worth it...thinking probably not. However, Nolan really surprised us - he absolutely LOVED being up in the Arch and pointed out so many things while we were up there. When we were finally leaving St. Louis at 10:30 last night as we drove past the arch, moments before he fell into a dreamy sleep, he said, "Goodbye Arch". It was so cute! Then, the icing on the cake...on his own out of nowhere, he said, "Thank you, Mommy!" Isn't parenthood the best?
