The other night, Nolan was in the car for his first fender-bender when we were unexpectedly rear-ended on our way to church. When I looked back to see if he was okay, he had the biggest frown on his face (the one he gets when he's using every bit of energy & strength to fight back tears) and his eyes were quite watery. When I explained to him that it was okay and what had happened, he could no longer contain his tears and weapily said, "I thought it was the 'bomimal no-man' getting us!"
He's been very into holiday movies lately, and just happened to watch Rudolph that very day at preschool during "rest time." Typically, to my surprise, he's quite fond of the guy...I guess just not when he thinks his car is being lifted/hit by him.
