It's the Great Pumpkin, Nolan

We took our annual Columbus Day trip to Eckert's and although it was a little chilly out, we had a great time! It was so exciting to watch Nolan this year. It just keeps getting better! He was so excited about the pumpkin farm and has been talking about it everyday since. He got to feed goats, see other animals (camel, llama, wallaby, etc.), and even ride a pony!


Afterwards, we set out to find the perfect pumpkin. When we got to the pumpkins, we quickly became sidetracked. There was a man playing guitar and singing country songs on a small stage nearby. Nolan was immediately drawn to him, especially because he's very into instruments, specifically guitars! He whipped out his air guitar and began strumming and dancing along! It didn't take long for him to gather a crowd watching and smiling. The performer even commented about Nolan several times, and made a point to come talk to him when he took a break. After the break, I tried to get it on video, but Nolan was almost over it at that point, so unfortunately, I'm not as happy with the video. If only I would of thought to start recording sooner!

It was a great day and as much as I do not want to wish away fall, since it's my favorite season, I am really starting to look forward to Christmas after seeing his excitement and the difference in this holiday from last year's. Is there anything that can top the magic that children bring to holidays?!
